Dear Friends,
As you might have anticipated in the last few months, this website provides some useful information to help you attend our wedding. Since you’re probably traveling from abroad and from thousands of miles away, here are some suggestions to extend your trip to Italy.
Below are the dates and address to remember:
- The wedding is planned for Friday, July 18th, 2025, and it will start at 5 pm at Monastero Esarchico di S. Maria di Grottaferrata, Corso del Popolo, 128 Grottaferrata. After the wedding, all our guests are invited to attend a dinner at Villa Monte D’Oro, Via della Ferriera, 6, Grottaferrata.
- The week after (July 25th - 27th), one of the biggest events of the year takes place in Sulmona, attracting thousands of tourists. It's a must-see event: https://www.giostrasulmona.it.
We suggest staying in Italy for at least two weeks:
- Arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday (15th - 16th) and enjoy a few days in Rome (though it can be really hot during this period).
- Attend the wedding on Friday and rest on Saturday.
- Do some sightseeing during the week, and then arrive in Sulmona on Thursday the 24th or Friday the 25th at the latest.
- Spend the weekend there, and from Sunday, feel free to extend your vacation or return home.
Please start planning and make all the necessary bookings so we can know in advance how many of you are coming and where you’ll be staying. We’ll support you in moving around from Rome to Grottaferrata and back.
We do not expect any presents from you (we understand that travel costs and accommodation can be quite high during this period), but if you wish to contribute to our ‘familymoon,’ you’re more than welcome.

Oh yes, it's really true, after several years since the distant 2015 when we met at one of the legendary Mambo Party parties, we have decided to get married (in the meantime we have moved forward with these wonderful 3 little ones).

Below you will find all the logistical information on how our special day will unfold.
To ensure a smooth arrival without traffic or other issues at the two following venues, we advise against stopping at our home and suggest meeting directly at the Church.
For those departing from Sulmona, a bus will be arranged to facilitate transportation. The estimated travel time is about 2 hours.
RELIGIOUS CEREMONY H 16:30 AT THE ESARCHIC MONASTERY OF S. MARIA DI GROTTAFERRATA
The religious ceremony will take place at the Esarchic Monastery of S. Maria di Grottaferrata, Corso del Popolo, 128 Grottaferrata (RM)
There is ample parking space within the facility.
RECEPTION AT VILLA MONTE D’ORO
After the ceremony, we will be happy to welcome family and friends at Villa Monte D’Oro, Via della Ferriera, 6, Grottaferrata (RM).
Please note that the two locations are very close, about 1km apart as the crow flies, so the transfer (which must be done by car) takes only a few minutes.
Upon arrival, refreshments and some snacks will be available while waiting for the newlyweds to arrive.
It is highly recommended that your children attend, to keep Diego, Petra, and Thiago company at a parallel party organized exclusively for them with a group of dedicated babysitters.

Celebrating this day together represents the most beautiful gift you could give us (for some of you, even having participated in the bachelor or bachelorette party a few weeks earlier).
